Requirements
- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, secure, and fault tolerant systems on AWS for the development and test lifecycle of our cloud security product.
- Focus on building Dockerized application components by integrating with AWS ECS.
- Modify existing software in AWS to improve performance.
- Passion for solving challenging issues.
- Promote cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve common goals. Lead, mentor and build a team.
- Examine data to grasp issues, draw conclusions, and solve problems.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated competency with the following AWS services: ECS, EC2, EBS, S3, Glacier, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, Lambda.
- Proficient in any Git repo like bitBucket, github, etc.
- Full software development lifecycle experience.
- Experience building scalable infrastructure in AWS.
- Experience with one or more AWS SDKs and/or CLI.
- Expertise in leveraging Automation / DevOps principles, experience with operational tools, and able to apply best practices for infrastructure and software deployment (Ansible / Puppet / Chef / Saltstack).
- CI/CD pipeline.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in setting up complete monitoring of all stacks in AWS.
- Experience architecting and operating systems built with Amazon Web Services
- Experience with Docker containers.
- Comfortable using strace/tcp dump in troubleshooting.
- Experience in RDS creation, backups and restoration.
- Creating deployment for various environments using beanstalk
- Knowledge of Python 3.5 and Lambda.
- AWS Certification is added advantage
